Literary Houses: Ten Famous Houses in Fiction by Rosalind Ashe (1982)
This book is one of the coolest I've ever come across - it delves into the homes of 10 famous literary characters, from Dracula to Jane Eyre. Each chapter includes a bio of the book's author, beautiful full-colour illustrations, a floor plan of the fictional house, and excerpts from the text.
The 10 houses explored are from the following books:
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens
The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde
The House of the Seven Gables by Nathaniel
HawthorneThe Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Dracula by Bram Stoker
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Howards End by E.M. Forster
The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle
