This beautiful piece is an original signed sketch by Derek Biddulph, an accomplished Irish artist and visual chronicler of Galway, Ireland. Over his 40-year career, Biddulph painted and sketched the city in all different angles, moods and colours.

This sketch depicts 8 Bowling Green, the home of Nora Barnacle - who was the wife and muse of James Joyce, the famed Irish author of Ulysses. Barnacle lived here in her childhood until 1904, before beginning her relationship with Joyce. The house has been restored and now serves as the smallest museum in Ireland.
