A highly collectible, Mid-Century Modern set of three wooden kitchen canisters. The largest canister is marked “Sugar/Sucre”, and the smaller canisters are marked “Coffee/Café” and “Tea/The”. Each come with a wooden lid stamped “Baribocraft Canada” on the inside.
Bariobocraft was a Quebec-based company, most active during the 1960s and 1970s, making wooden homewares from Canadian wood. Their pieces have become collectible due to their craftsmanship, durability and beautiful wood grain.
Size:
Sugar: 6.5” on front face, 5.5” on side face, 7.5” tall
Coffee and Tea: Both 6.5” on front face, 5.5” on side face, 5” tall
Condition: All three have wear consistent with age, including scratches and nicks to the finish. Please note since these items are vintage wood, I cannot guarantee that they are food safe. If I were to use these in my kitchen, I would place a slightly smaller plastic or glass container inside each, making them both functional and beautiful!
